last days of summer

I forgot I have had some pictures on my camera for a while of things we did in August, so here are a few.

We went to the Salem Days parade and got a ton of treats. So the parade was a hit with Cambria.

Cambria started gymnastics last week-she hated it. So we will try again soon. But she did master the "ta-da" when we were at home.

Today we went to the zoo which was fun, but a little chilly. It wiped Skyler and Cambria out and they are now asleep.

Cambria was scared of this gorilla, but the gorillas were her favorite animals to watch, and she informed everyone that was around her the baby gorilla's favorite thing to do was swing around on trees.

birthday girl

As most of you probably know Cambria's birthday was Saturday and she turned 2! We had a fun day filled with lots of food, a Mickey Mouse party, playing, and napping. We forgot to take pictures all day of her but finally took a few with Skyler's phone at dinner that night when she ate her birthday ice cream.

One of the presents she got was a Mrs. Potato Head, she hasn't quite gotten the hang of it yet.

new stuff

We were birthday shopping for Cambria at Target and couldn't quite keep her away from all the toys we planned on purchasing, so she got some early.

Cambria was sick with some stomach problems a few days ago and since Skyler always buys her something when she is sick he brought home tools for her and she loves fixing everything in our house.


My dad built us a hutch for our kitchen and I thought it would be a great space for more storage but it turns out to be just a great place for Cambria to play.
