December

Time for an update since a lot has changed with us recently. The biggest of all was the week of Thanksgiving we moved to Eagle Mountain! So far we love it and I will post pictures of our house when I finally get around to taking some.
We are also waiting, not so patiently, for baby boy to come. I'm 36 weeks so hopefully it won't be too much longer. We don't have a name picked out yet though.

We went to Thanksgiving Point so Cambria could see some of Santa's reindeer.

Cambria is loving the Christmas season and wants everything she sees in magazines or on TV. She has sat on Santa's lap twice and each time has asked for a Miss Muffin Doll. Last night her school had their Christmas program. She loves to sing and loves to sing loud!

happy halloween

Cambria had so much fun this year for Halloween. We carved and painted lots of pumpkins, went to corn/hay mazes, farms, pumpkin patches, made lots of treats, and watched fun Halloween movies. She will be sad to see all the decorations taken down. We went to our ward Halloween party and trick-or-treating. But she actually enjoyed passing out candy more than actually trick-or-treating. Which is all right with me because I love passing out candy too.

Unfortunately I only took one picture of Halloween.

First weekend in May

I consider us outdoors people, not to be confused with outdoorsy people because we definitely aren't that. We just like to be outside. So since the weather has been nice we have spent time outdoors riding bikes, going to the zoo, going to the canyon, and just playing.

Cute baby Elephant at the Zoo.

Cambria requested I take a picture of her hugging this bear at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

Difficult time getting her to smile.

Valentine's Day

When I told Cambria that Valentine's day was a day to tell everyone you love them she went around the house and told all her toys how much she loves them.

She got a backpack, a pizza play set and a book today. We also made cookies which is one of her favorite things to do. She loves helping me do anything in the kitchen.

red, white, and blue

On the 4th of July I made a red, white, and blue breakfast:
Blue pancakes
White eggs
Red Strawberries
It turns out blue pancakes look really disgusting... so it's a good thing I make really tasty pancakes.
Cambria loved the 4th of July because she loved the flag I got her and she enjoyed watching fireworks, even though she was a little afraid of them.

Skyler's Birthday/New Years

Skyler has the perfect birthday. It's the day where the whole world parties all night long. He doesn't think it's so great since it is close to Christmas but he was excited for his birthday this year. Even though he didn't get what he REALLY wanted (sorry!) but he did get a Wii and Wii sports resort which is really fun. They have a lot better games for the Wii since we had our first one and then gave it away so he (I) wanted one again.

Cambria was even able to stay up till 11:00pm last night. I didn't think she would last that long but she sure didn't want to go to sleep. She has been asleep for 2.5 hours today though and is still sleeping.
We went to the aquarium today and I think Cambria had a good time, once she was able to get out of her stroller. She really enjoyed playing in the water where the sting rays live and playing on the coral reef play ground. She would also point to all the fish in their tanks and I tried really hard to get her to say "fish" but she just couldn't say it.

Early Christmas Present

Cambria got an early Christmas present from her grandma and grandpa Tolman a few days ago. And she absolutely loves it!! She can't quite reach the pedals but loves getting pushed on it. It's cute to watch her try and ride it.

Winter Festivities

We have been pretty busy lately. The day after Thanksgiving we went to Thanksgiving Point and saw the Christmas lights which I thought were kind of lame... and would not recommend going to, but their hot chocolate was good. We will probably be going to the Hogle Zoo to see those lights sometime so hopefully they will make up for it. But Cambria LOVED seeing the reindeer!

Align Center

Skyler and I always go to the Festival of Trees but he is out of town so I went with my mom this year. Cambria did pretty well since she doesn't like sitting for more than a few minutes but she was fine if she had food. So I kept her belly full with caramel apples and a rice krispy treat.

18-year old me at the Festival.

Here we are 5 years ago at the Festival of Trees. So cute.

23-year old me at the festival.

I also made Cambria a dress (which I love) that cost less than 5 dollars to make! I have seen dresses like this before but just made it up as I went and I'm proud of it. Next time I will add more tule to the bottom though to make it more full.

2 seconds later she tipped this bear over and broke it. I should have known better than to put him on the floor.

Our tree may not last until Christmas because I am tired of keeping Cambria away from it and re-stringing the lights every day.
