I don't have a title. Just pictures of Cambria, like always.

Since I am a blogaholic now I was sad I didn't have any pictures to post so I took all these yesterday just to post on the blog. Plus, it gives me something to do while Cambria is napping.

I'm so proud of this new bow. I have given up making bows so I bought this one but I really like it.

Walkering

I was totally jealous of people who are smart enough to post videos on their blog so I had Skyler teach me how to do it so you could all enjoy what our afternoons are like.

Fun Stuff

I wouldn't normally post a picture of me swimming especially in my not-so-much-of-a-swimming-suit outfit but I like how we are having fun in the back and Cambria is upset for some reason. We went swimming again Saturday and it was fun for the whole family.

We were lying on the grass Sunday afternoon and Cambria really liked playing with her Grandpa Law's head.

Cheesy Smile from Cambria. But cute daddy/daughter picture.

Standing all by herself!

9-Month Update

I can't believe I've updated the blog this many times in one week. I guess we've just been doing a lot of things! Well Cambria is now 9 months old and we went to the doctor Monday. She now weighs 16 pounds 11 ounces and is 28 3/4 inches long. So that means she has gained 10 pounds and grown 10 inches since she was born. Pretty much she's super tall but super skinny for her age. I think she's so skinny because she never stops moving, even when she's sleeping she is moving around. She wears me out but it is a lot of fun. The doctor said she's doing great and now is able to eat more foods so that makes me happy because Cambria goes crazy when anyone is eating and she's not so now I can just give her some food off my plate to make her happy. She's kind of a mess to take to restaurants because of this. She went swimming for the first time yesterday. It was a little cold outside so we had to boil the water and then fill the pool up. It took a long time and was still pretty chilly but fun nonetheless.

Mother's Day

This mother's day was a lot of fun for me since it was my first one being a mom and I thought a lot about what being a mom means to me. I was asked a while ago if being a mom is hard and I didn't know how to answer it. Because, yes, it's a sacrifice but it is definitely worth it and I wouldn't change any of it. I imagine most mom's would say that. But I heard a statistic lately that really startled me, it said: 1/7 children under 5 (in Utah) don't know where their next meal is coming from. While that is sad for the obvious reason it made me think a lot about the moms of these kids and what their circumstances are like to not be able to provide the way they probably want to. But it also makes me sad for those who are trying to adopt but have been unsuccessful so far but would be great parents. To those people I say, keep praying, and we will keep praying for you and I know that you will be blessed one day. It also makes me want to find ways to give to those in need. I'm not sure how I will accomplish that but I will try my best.

My faith has increased so much by the trials we have been through as a family and from being a mom. It really puts things in perspective when you hold your baby, or when she gets hurt and you cry instead of her, and when she smiles at you because you're being silly. It's a great feeling. So, really on this day I am thankful to Cambria for being such a great joy in my life and for Skyler who is always there to help and is such a great husband.

I've been really lucky in my life and know that it is because
of my mom that I am the way I am. And she always helps me out so much. Thanks mom for being the best.
And thanks to M'liss, Skyler's mom, for being such a great mom to raise a wonderful son who is just perfect.

So here we are just going day by day trying trying to do our best and having as much fun as possible. Which we always succeed in doing. Cambria is such a good little girl and I love her more than she will ever know.

(There you go Judd, that's my journal entry for the day)

Snack Time

Cambria's snack time wasn't as supervised as they usually are. And this was the result:

Playing at the Park

We took Cambria to the park today and had a lot of fun with her on the swings, slides, and just on the grass. I'm happy that she likes grass now because the first time we put her on it she didn't like it much, but she was crawling and rolling down the hill. She also really likes pulling out the grass.

She doesn't really know how fun slides are yet but she had a good time. I'm pretty sure Skyler had fun too fitting in to the kiddie slides.

But she loves swinging!

Birthday!

As many of you know I had my birthday last Thursday and have finally gotten around to posting some pictures. My cute husband got me a new camera so I am still figuring out how to use it but I love it!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Me opening my present from my parents... and yes, it was a JUMP ROPE! Hooray!
I should note they also got me a vacuum.
