snow day

We played in the snow earlier this week after it snowed a bunch and she loved sitting and eating the snow and being pulled in the sled because she wouldn't walk around by herself.

So, I made her a snow chair so she could sit in style while eating the snow.

She also helped me build a Cambria-sized snowman by making snowballs and handing them to me.
The day after we played in the snow I was getting Cambria dressed and asked her what she wanted to wear and she grabbed her snow hat and gloves and put them on and went and stood by the door and pounded on it because she wanted to play in the snow more!

We didn't go play in the snow though so she just sat inside in her snow gear and played.

The next day she did the exact same thing! I have a picture of it but it's not sending from my phone for some reason, so if it does I will post it but you'll just have to trust me. I did make her day by letting her play in the snow again on Friday, but since there's not much snow anymore she ended up playing in the mud and made a huge mess. It was great.

playing catch up

This was taken with my phone because of how funny Cambria's hair looked. She had a bath then went down for a nap and this was what her hair did.

Skyler and Cambria made a fort last Sunday and had a great time playing in it. Skyler already has plans for an even bigger and better fort, "we just need bigger blankets".

A few weeks ago Cambria learned how to climb up on the table by the couches to climb on to the couches. She has not fallen yet so I still let her climb up there. Actually, it is impossible to stop her.

I made this dress a few weeks ago with my new sewing machine I got for Christmas. It's some of my best work and I was just making it up as I went. However, since I made it up as I went...it's way too big. So perhaps when she is 3 you will see pictures of her wearing it.

sicko

Cambria has been sick for a few days now. She just has a cold but it is still a bummer. She doesn't sleep well at night but she sleeps great during the day. Hopefully she will get over this quickly but now Skyler is getting sick.
Every time Cambria gets sick Skyler buys her some pajamas so she now has 2 pair of pajamas just from her daddy.
Fingers crossed that I won't get sick too.

Spoiled

Cambria has gotten a lot of new toys lately because she doesn't seem interested in her old toys. Here are some pictures of her playing with her new stuff.

This is her new kitchen. She's just a little too short but she absolutely loves this and I think it's so cute when she plays with it.

She doesn't really know how to golf yet and I'm excited for it to warm up so she can golf outside but she likes this nonetheless. We also got a bowling set for her since our long hallway is a perfect bowling alley. She likes helping set up the pins and then holding the ball while knocking over the pins.
So far Skyler and I have more fun playing with her bowling and golf sets.

Sledding

On Saturday we went sledding on the massive hill at Bonneville Park. Actually it was just the right size for Cambria, and me... Seeing as how the last time I went sledding I wound up in the emergency room with half my face ripped off... Anyway, Cambria LOVED it. She said "wee!" every time we went down the hill and she liked playing in and eating the snow. It was Cambria's second time playing in the snow. The first time she did not like, mostly because she took her gloves off and her hands got really cold. But this time she kept them on and had a fun time. Enjoy all these pictures, I was proud of us for taking a lot of pictures for once. We struggle remembering to take pictures of all the things we do.

Skyler's Birthday/New Years

Skyler has the perfect birthday. It's the day where the whole world parties all night long. He doesn't think it's so great since it is close to Christmas but he was excited for his birthday this year. Even though he didn't get what he REALLY wanted (sorry!) but he did get a Wii and Wii sports resort which is really fun. They have a lot better games for the Wii since we had our first one and then gave it away so he (I) wanted one again.

Cambria was even able to stay up till 11:00pm last night. I didn't think she would last that long but she sure didn't want to go to sleep. She has been asleep for 2.5 hours today though and is still sleeping.
We went to the aquarium today and I think Cambria had a good time, once she was able to get out of her stroller. She really enjoyed playing in the water where the sting rays live and playing on the coral reef play ground. She would also point to all the fish in their tanks and I tried really hard to get her to say "fish" but she just couldn't say it.
