Dancing Queen
Cambria went in our bedroom, emptied all the clothes out of the laundry basket, and brought it in our front room so she could dance on it.
Such a funny girl.

Our night...
Last night we spent in the emergency room with Cambria. She was not feeling well Sunday night and it got worse all day Monday. I took her temperature at about 8:00pm and it was 102.3. So we went to the ER and she was very upset the whole time we were there and we couldn't calm her down. She had some good reasons to be upset though.
1. She didn't feel good
2. She was really tired
3. I forgot to bring some toys
4. People kept touching her
5. I'm pretty sure she was upset by the bums we saw and the crazy lady who got arrested
It turns out she has bilateral ear infections and a cold. Her temperature is still pretty high but has gone down. She's loaded up on medications and is already a lot happier than she has been for 2 days. It made me really happy this morning to see her playing because she hasn't wanted to for a while. This is the first time she's ever been sick and she isn't shy about letting us know when she is miserable.
And, United Health Care, I'm pretty certain you read our blog so you can just send all our bills to Cambria's pediatrician because they were the reason we had to go to the ER. After calling them 4 times, being told they didn't have any appointments, and after being on hold for 20 minutes to talk to a nurse I gave up and we went to the hospital. So it's their fault our bill will be high.

New Dress
If there was a Project Runway for mom's who only made dresses for their kids I would totally go on it. Unfortunately this would be the week I would get kicked off. The dress isn't as good as I would have hoped and I would have lost points on the styling aspect because I cannot find a black shirt or shoes to go with it and I've looked a bunch of places.
I like this dress because I love the white eyelet fabric. But the craftsmanship is not as good as some of my other projects. To be honest I kept getting really frustrated and just kept redoing things I didn't like. Plus, this was my first time doing pockets so I struggled.
It is a little big on her which I didn't anticipate but that just means she can wear it for longer.

Books
Cambria loves reading books. Which is why it is great that our stroller is now in front of our bookcase so she can climb up in it and reach MY books and read (tear) them. This happens to us multiple times a day if I forget to close the door to the office.
She knows she got caught playing in here but she doesn't seem to care.
