sew impressed

clever, right?

Anyway, I have been sewing a lot lately but I have been making spring clothes and it has been darn cold so Cambria hasn't been able to wear them much. So, we played dress up this morning and I snapped some pics.
This shirt was a pain to make but now that I know how to do it I will probably make a dress similar to this shirt but with different fabric. Cambria loves helping make the bed because she gets to jump on the bed a bunch first. She is trying to help out doing a lot of things now like clean, make dinner, getting herself dressed, and she helps me put my makeup on.

This skirt is a lot cuter in person. It is probably one of my favorite things I have made.

Here is the dress I made a while ago but she hasn't worn it because it is too big but with the sweater over the top it looks okay.

Now I need to to start making her Easter dress.

this weekend

This weekend Skyler and I went to Brian Regan. I would show the pictures I took of us but they were with my phone and I always managed to cut off me or Skyler so you'll just have to take my word for it that we were there and it was awesome. Anyway, while we were gone Cambria played with her grandparents and with her brand new rocking horse.

We also played at a park in Pleasant Grove which is one of the the best parks I've ever been to. Skyler has been there a lot for tennis and what not but we had fun even though it was a little cold. We will definitely be going back soon if anyone wants to join us.

And then here is us at church yesterday. I thought Cambria looked really cute in her church outfit so I wanted to get her picture but she was not cooperating too much.

a little bit of everything

I haven't updated in a while, since I was busy watching the Olympics and then just forgot to blog... but sadly the Olympics are over. But now I can get back to normal life by spending time with my family once again, using the computer a little, and watching my normal TV shows.

We all practiced bobsledding a lot during the last two weeks with Cambria's diaper box as our own bobsled.

Cambria loves to color and would do it all day long if I let her. After weeks of putting up with her coloring on the floor or at the table and on everything in sight we got her this desk so now she can sit at it and color. But let's be hones, the crayons always end up in her mouth.
